Sanctum Noir RP City Rules
Sanctum Noir is a story-first, consequence-heavy roleplay server. These rules exist to protect immersion, fairness, and people.
Section 01: Staff, Authority & Global Policies
- Staff reserve the right to act on behavior that harms the experience or breaks the spirit of fair, immersive RP.
- No RDM, VDM, Metagaming, Powergaming, FailRP, NVL, Exploiting, Harassment, OOC Targeting, or Troll RP.
- Zero tolerance for hate speech and slurs; this results in an instant, likely permanent, ban.
- Real Money Trading (RMT) is strictly prohibited.
- Accounts (Steam, Discord, FiveM) must be at least 30 days old.
Section 02: Core Roleplay Standards
- OOC talk in city voice regarding real-life issues, rules, or stream chat is prohibited.
- Metagaming (using info not learned in-RP) is forbidden.
- Combat logging (quitting to avoid death, arrest, or scene consequences) is prohibited.
- Value of Life (NVL): If at a clear disadvantage with a weapon drawn on you, you must comply.
- New Life Rule: If your character dies, you must forget events leading directly to your death.
Section 03: Violence & Police
- RDM: You cannot injure or kill someone without prior RP escalation and valid IC reason.
- VDM: Vehicles cannot be used as primary weapons (running people over, etc.).
- Do not bait cops, spam crimes, or know 10-codes like a veteran officer.
Section 04: Jobs & Locations
- Hospitals and job hubs are "soft" protected zones with no faction beefs or shootouts.
- Civilians doing jobs are off-limits for robberies unless they escalate or provoke.
- Dark RP requires OOC consent before starting.
Section 05: Tech & Exploits
- Any use of cheats (injectors, aimbots, ESP) is an immediate permanent ban.
- Altered game files providing unfair advantages (no fog, tracers, glowing outlines) are forbidden.
Section 06: Crime & Heists
- Heists must respect player caps (e.g., Small Store: 2, Fleeca: 4).
- You must have a clear RP reason to rob someone; pocket-wiping players entirely is not allowed.
Section 07: Factions & Gangs
- Unapproved factions cannot claim turf or start wars.
- Approved factions must wear clear identifiers during gang activity.
- Faction wars must be approved by Faction Control/Staff with clear terms.
